The story behind the beasts

Behind any sober personality and undeniable charm we can find an exciting side of us that is no longer subtle. It’s something that comes from beneath the surface and shows the uncanny version of ourselves: that alter ego who reflects who we are in playful and somehow, extravagant way. This is where our monsters are born. Two hairy beasts filled with qualities and attitudes that define the DNA of what we are passionate about in the most unconventional situations we could possibly imagine. A true representation of every single character inside Aktiva. An intimate experience.

Dressed only in black and white, these monsters come with a perfect balance of mischief and good behavior in between. They are cheerful, they are bold, but most importantly: they are anunmistakable extension of us.

We needed somebody who could genuinely understand the meaning and impact we wanted to communicate with our new members of the family, but also, someone twisted and irreverent enough to visualize and create the perfect identity of these inusual characters. When we discovered the talent behind the Visual Artist Juan Carlos Paz (Bakea) we decided that he would be the perfect candidate designated for this quest. After an intensive approach, we were able to bring to life all the spirit and substance we were looking for our monsters.
